Fit & sizing
Find your size.
How do I find my jacket size?
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, with the tape level. That number in inches is roughly your jacket size: a 40-inch chest usually wears a 40. Between sizes, size up and let the floor fit it to you.
What do S, R and L mean?
Jacket length, based on height. As a rough guide: Short is under about 5'8", Regular about 5'8" to 6'0", and Long about 6'1" and up. Arm length and posture matter too, so your size is confirmed at the fitting.
What waist comes with the suit?
Most suit trousers run about 6 inches smaller than the jacket, so a 40 jacket usually pairs with a 34 waist. The length is hemmed to you at your fitting.
How should a suit fit?
The shoulder seam ends where your shoulder does, with no dent below it. The jacket buttons without pulling into an X. Sleeves show about a quarter to half inch of shirt cuff. Trousers sit at the waist and break lightly over the shoe.
Do I need to know my size before I come in?
No. Choose “Measure me” when you order, or just walk in. Your size is confirmed with a tape before anything is hemmed.
Can I get a starting size online?
Yes. The Fitting Room gives you a starting jacket, waist, shirt and shoe size from your height, weight and build.
